In 2021-2022, Art Ain’t Innocent made our first film, entitled “Eat Art.”
Eat Art tackles the art world inequity of not properly paying artists for their work. Too often artists are offered exposure instead of payment. Using an absurdist lens, this film highlights these inequities, shares artists' stories, and points to a different, more sustainable future.

Educate audiences, institutions and other artists about the dire need to properly compensate artists.
Encourage artists to see their value and ask for proper payment.
Invite everyone into envisioning new ways to support artists.
Escalate when art institutions don’t respond to artists’ requests to be equitably compensated.
